This question is directed at all whom have read 'The Great Gatsby' and HATED it!
I don't know about you but I found it to be boring, overrated, and an utter pile of rubbish.
But I think this might have been due to false advertising.
The title says 'The Great Gatsby' and there had been a lot of hype around the author and the story, therefore, I was expecting some great or impressive character or narration. I was quite disappointed by what I found.
And I think a lot of you agree with me that the story was a total letdown. So my question is:
Do you think that had Fitzgerald titled his story under another heading we may have not been so disappointed and may have actually appreciated it?
