Changing out CPU on a laptop?

My Girlfriend has an HP Pavilion. It has a Turion 64 X2 TL-56 Processor

Stepping is 2 and Revision is BH-F2
I'm more of a desktop guy myself, but this thing is running at 800mhz per core, and still is at 51 degrees C. I know it's a 90nm but thats ridiculous.
I know there are some hardware guru's out there who know this answer.
Can I put in one of the newer 65nm, or even a 45nm in this thing to cool it down?

I'm thinking a Lion, or a Caspian from AMD. This is a Trinidad.
Clock speeds are not particularly of interest a 1.8GHZ would be fine.

Thanks in advance,
Allan

Even if you could are you going to go through all that trouble in opening the laptop apart and getting the motherboard if the temps bother you? 51C isnt bad compared to what i get on mines.. 60C-70c gaming... Laptops are always going to be hot no matter what .. Get a Laptop Cooler which I get.. 60c dropped to 52C with the cooler...
