Cheap phone for Verizon wireless?

My five year old Verizon phone died and I want to replace it.I could buy one from Verizon, but it would mean another two year contract. I'd like to keep going month to month right now.

What are my options for a cheap feature phone? I'm not interested in a data plan (too expensive right now). Does Verizon sell refurbished phones?

You can look for used Verizon phones on ebay, just make sure the ESN is clean.
