Some kid hit my car and his dad wants to pay for the damages without insurance getting involved. I went to a really good body shop, and I like to get genuine Audi parts for those that need to be replaced. I told him the shops quote and he wants to pay the shop directly and wants a copy of the quote. What am I entitled to give him and what if I want the check and will deal with the damages later, can he deny that? I asked for the check and he told me he'd rather pay for the damages directly to the shop.
