i just replace my whole airbag system in my '01 cavalier, i got the front sensor brand new, and the airbags and module were pulled out of a junkyard, but are still in working condition. i put everything together right, but the airbag light is on when i start the car, does this mean it's stored in the main comp. and needs to be taken to be reset?
if you mean the sdm or whatever it's called when you say module, then i'm pretty sure that it's not a faulty one, my guess is that either i have to reset the main computer on the car, or in one of the service manuals is said something about the vin number might not match up. does anyone know what i should do
