I have a 92 chevy cavalier 2.2 automatic.When I shift the car into reverse the car drives fine. But when I shift the car into drive it starts out good.But when Its trying to shift it self to third it sticks and goes weeeeeeerrrr, and wont shift.. It has full fluid too. I even tried some lucas in the tranny and that didn't help.
However if I drive the car by manually shifting it from 1st gear to second it works.for like driving in the city..So I have to stay in second gear otherwise it wont shift it self further. Can someone tell me what this is and whats going on?
One other note.once or Twice the car has shifted fine in all gears but now went back to acting as mentioned
