Choosing a blue-ray player. ?

Help me pick out my husband's Christmas present. We have a new LG LED 3D TV and I want to get him a blue-ray player to go with it. It needs to play blue-ray and DVDs, and play in 3D. Picture quality is naturally important. I don't need Internet connectivity because the TV already has it. I'm looking to spend about $200. What's good?

Here's what you should do: Buy a ps3.
They are going for about $250 but you could probably find one for cheaper if you look around a bit. It can do 3D, blu-rays, DVDs along with tons of games. It can also do all sorts of fun stuff like connect to Netflix and Hulu. You can also buy or rent new movies through the PlayStation store. If you have WI-Fi in your house you can set up a media server on a computer and stream movies saved to your hard drive to your PS3. Basically you get everything you want with the capabilities to do a ton more. Have fun!
