Choosing over TV cable carries: comcast, direct tv and dish network and need help..?

I need help to choosing over cable carriers comcast, direct tv and dish network.

I'd like to know if you have one and what you think about them and their plans and contracts. and which is the best value or even cheapest? (we definitely want HD DVR)
I'm located in the Memphis area and those are the main cable carries.
