What do you do in order to grow in your relationship with God together? Do you pray? Do devotions together?

I'm constantly looking for new ways to grow closer to my boyfriend spiritually, I'd love to hear some suggestions! :)
 
Yeah you should probably say things like "oh god" repetitively together.

Also, people like Birdy and her husband... I simply cannot fathom. It's like you're not even people to each other, just roles.

Maybe this is a question that should be aimed at him not the world. Try asking your boyfriend about his religious and spiritual status and see what he says. Find a common source of reverence and work from there. If he enjoys going to mass then go with him. If he likes to pray privately, try not to intrude. This will give him space and find you more open to honesty with him. It is the little things that count in the end and he sounds like someone you can count on. So sit down and talk with this person and see what he thinks.
 
A really good boo is "The Five Love Languages" by Gary Chapman.
 
All starts or is founded in your relationship with God. When this is established, your relationship with others will fare well with you (and them). When you internalize what the love of God means and is, then you will true peace and understanding (with a whole lot of hope and optimism to go with it) in life.
