...ETC.) for 2010 or did they DIE OUT? Do you believe the gifts of the Spirit and the supernatural miraculous were done away with when the Bible was completed?

Do you belive those supernatural gifts were just to establish the early Church and nothing more beyond that?

Or, do you still belive in the supernatural gifts of the Spirit and that they continue from the apostles and early diSciples up today in 2010?

Why do you think so?

Yes. these spiritual gifts are here in our day also! I know they are because I have experienced some of those things personally.
 
yes they continue.

1 cor 12:7. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

I believe that this is still so today because:

1. people today are still able to prophecy (which if done with the wrong spirit they are called psychics)

2. 1 corinthians is in the new testament after the birth of christ which is after what you are calling the early church or (the old covenant).

This is evident even in your own life and probably everyone else you know. we all have some type of a gift (even atheists), rather it's singing, dancing, the ability to think fast or whatever. these come without repentence.

romans 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
 
you ask because you too have a gift. seek and you shall find your gift that you are looking for. just don't waste it
 
Read 1 Corinthians 12.

The gifts of the holy spirit were for the apostles.
 
They are still very alive today! The gifts have been a big part of my life, and trust me, if you have felt the holy spirit it all starts to make sense. The problem is, this world has fallen asleep, and even people who follow Jesus are becoming bench warmers. Revival is coming! Dont give up, even when everyone else does, because you know how the story ends ;)
 
You could say ancient times were the years when God spoke to man. Or you could say ancient times were when man listened to God. Many people discourage fasting, even preachers. In the bible prophets said "I sought God with prayer, supplication and fasting" and then God answered. I want to fast. Its so hard. So, I'm saying fast. Maybe you'll hear him or see something he wants you to see. You'll be on the threshold of heaven.
