Quite to teh contrary..Jesus is a jew and did not come to start a new religion..The seed of David(a jew) prophesied by Moses to be a jew, Deut, 18:15, 18:18/ Taught at jewish synagogue/ was circumsized on the eighth day by jewish custom..THere are more...The romans had too much influence over the formation of the early church. THey wanted to seperate the jews from the christians..Do a study on the word stranger , and see that Israel was commanded to allow the stranger to join them in the salvation of God. Gen 17:12/ Ex 12:48/ Eze 47:22
It's not dislike, it's more disagree.
Judaism basically ends at The Old Testament and does not acknowledge Jesus as the Son of God, so yes we think they are wrong, as the New Testament kind of over rules the Old for us (The New Testament is the New Covenant etc) although we still treasure the Old Testament too!
The God I worship does not break promises he has made. The remarks in Christian scriptures is self pity and building self esteem more than deep theological reflection on the nature of Judaism. The ejection of Christians from the synagogue stung many Christian communities.
No Catholic is allowed to dislike Judaism nor to condemn those who sincerely believe in it. The Catholic Church is built upon Judaism while still claiming to be the only one in full position of the Truth. In other words, this claim is made against all other non-Catholic religionss also.
