Christians, do you think the following situation could happen in the near future?

Hi Christians,

Do you think it could happen that churches could be penalized or closed down
if they refuse to publicly say that homosexuals can join?

Do you see this as something that could happen?

What would then be your reaction as a Christian?

NOTE: this is not about whether it is good or bad, just what could happen,
so answers should stay on this question.

Yes, this is definitely on the horizon -- but nearer than it appears. When this happens, we have two options -- one is as defined in Titus 3:10 -- a man that is an heretic, after the first and second admonition, reject -- which is to say, do not associate with them. Or we could go underground, like churches in hostile countries, like China for instance, where they just gather in homes secretly, and do not have outward church buildings. There is a time coming not far off, when we who are faithful to God shall have to flee to the mountains in order to survive, because the persecution will become so prevalent and hostile.

If this would happen, then the secular society would just show its true satanic colors: tolerance and human rights only for lies and sin, but hate of God, truth and righteousness.

Anyway Jesus prophesied that in the last days the love of many will grow cold, also that many people will be wicked and live in lies and delusion.

I'll just continue in faith in Lord Jesus Christ, hopefully with God's strength, even if it is criminalized and hated even more.

No. Under the First Amendment churches can admit or refuse anybody they want for any reason they want. Someone could start up a "Whites Only" or "Men only" church and legally nothing could be done because anti-discrimination and other laws don't apply to churches. All of this fearmongering about how churches will be "punished" if they don't cater to LGBT people is pure BS.
