Christians, how are you so sure that Jesus is the son of God?

I'm not, i have never met him.
But if time traveling is ever invented i shall be sure to take a Paternity test and go back in time ;)

but anyways , i was brought up in a family that was Christian, but not for the sake of going to Heaven. My dad taught me that being loving and kind was God's most important words. the Bible might have been rewritten many times and probably been used to manipulate people, but i believe that Jesus, the messiah or not, taught people to be loving.

When the bible clearly states that The Messiah was to be a direct descendant of David. Mary was not a descendant of David, Joseph was. However, Joseph is not Jesus' biological father, since Jesus was born to a virgin.

So how can you be so sure, when Jesus does not fulfill this basic requirement?

If you were adopted into a royal bloodline (say your father was the king) --- would you be eligible to become a future king? If so, then your point is moot.

I don't know, maybe it's that He healed the sick, raised the dead, cast out demons, calmed the sea, fed 5000, walked on water, challenged religiosity and turned water into wine. Don't believe that? You just referenced scripture to bolster your point, you can't have it both ways.

O, and He's alive today since He ROSE FROM THE DEAD.
