Christians how can we stop abortion?

I honestly don't believe we can. Amazingly, all the aborted children are in heaven with God taken care of. But there is major judgement awaiting the parents of these children and the nation that openly and unforgivably supports it.

Seriously, any time some one wants to put a complete halt to all, and I mean every -- no exceptions, abortion, I have to think that you are putting yourself and society into the position of committing pre-meditated murder of the mother, who may be at risk.

The Catholic Church has (at least in the past) declared that the mother's life is forfeit over that of her unborn child.

I'm not trying to justify abortion on demand -- I cannot and will not condone it, but there are instances wherein the life of the mother, her health, and her sanity, are at stake. In those cases, it is not society's decision, but between the mother and her physician.

TDs expected.

Edit: The stem cell argument is dead because the cells in a healthy birth can be harvested from the (discarded) umbilical cord and used just as effectively. Fetuses are not required to further stem cell research.

You Can't. There is really no reason for an unwanted pregnancy now. They have the morning after pill, and a plethoria of contraceptives. There is no reason for anybody to become unwantedly pregnant now. Though, we might question the use of the morning after pill. People are promiscuous, even the so-called Christians.
