Christians, how can you think that Satan was an angel?

Angels DON'T have free will. So, what did your little book tell you on that subject? I'm not a Christian anymore, but I do see flaws in many of their beliefs to this date. If Lucifer was an Angel, then Jews are right, he is still an angel, if not then Lucifer is obviously fake or made evil.
