Christians, How many people have you turned to god while arguing with them on R&S?

Did he say go into all the world and force the Gospel down people throats and if they're wrong be mean and belittle them? Did he say make yourself seem smarter than the next man?

My point of debating here, is not to convert others. Its to help struggling believers to know the truth. I know that, when I was struggling, simple atheist statements made my faith shake. But if I saw somebody reply to the atheist with a good and logical answer, than my faith kept strong.

When we're ready to become a Christian, we're ready to have our first real conversation with God, and these are its components:

We acknowledge that Jesus Christ is God; that He came to earth as a man in order to live the sinless life that we cannot live; that He died in our place, so that we would not have to pay the penalty we deserve.
We confess our past life of sin -- living for ourselves and not obeying God.
We admit we are ready to trust Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord.
We ask Jesus to come into our heart, take up residence there, and begin living through us
 
Negative 1200. Yeah I accidently lead 1200 Christians to atheism because of my Christian stupidity.
 
If Jesus were around today, he would'nt even recognize these so-called "christians" as his followers.
 
Dude, what's up with the rant? This forum isn't used to convert people, it's used to ask and answer questions. What makes you think that I would (being Christian) try to convert you via Y! Answers? I've never "forced the Gospel down people('s) throats" or "belittle them" based on what they believe. God says to love everyone, and I can't see how forcing someone to listen to me rant and rave about how "your lifestyle is wrong" is showing someone love.

People get a bad taste in their mouths from Christians who are forceful, overbearing, judgmental, and down right rude about their tactics for preaching. It's sad really, that I'm labeled a "Christian (in the negative sense)" just because of others' mistakes.

Hope you enjoyed my rant. Seems only fair that I get to rant some since you did :D
 
About 6. I'm trying to get to 7. The 7th day = Saturday to worship GoD. Unlike the WHORE of BABYLON the nasty, nasty Catholics.

My MO is simple, invite my atheist friends to R/S and have them read the dogmatic Q/A of their fellow atheists. Several have been shocked as to how much atheism here sounds worse than any other religion.

One of the faithless regulars here is retired and spends his remaining days on R/S calling theists names. A couple of my atheist friends have read his posts and now know there has to be more to life.

R/S Atheists - the best proselytizers for Christ.
