like? I believe God made me exactly the way I am suppose to be. If God really wanted me to be Christ like (Christian), He would not have given me the one thing that you folks claim that Christ did not have. SIN.
I personally don't believe Christ was without sin. I believe that Jesus did not sin, but he, just like anybody had the ability to disobey his Father.
Jesus when he was with the disciples, not once did he ask them to be like him. So if God really wanted us be Christ like, why weren't we created Christ like?

We are created in His image. We have the same free will Jesus had.

You are created like Christ. Don't let anybody tell you different.

You're right Jesus had the ability to disobey (he was tempted by Satan several times) but remained sinless. None of us are going to be exactly like Christ but we need to try to reach that goal. There is nothing wrong with trying to reach an impossible goal. Look at athletes also trying to go faster, always trying to set new records after the last one is broken. It's the same with us. We must keep trying to reach Jesus' level.

In order to live a Christ like life, one must first surrender ones life to Christ by faith.

He did, apparently when Eve ate the apple or something, he took away the magicy godliness and made us like we are...
