Christians, is it important to proclaim the death of Jesus Christ?

If so, then why do most Christian churches only celebrate the Last Supper only ocassionally.

For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup,
you proclaim the death of the Lord until he comes. - 1 Cor 11: 26
 
No, it is not important.

What is important for Christians is to do what Jesus said to do - love your neighbor, don't judge others, in all things do to others as you would have them do to you, etc.

Drop the writings of Paul and read the words of Jesus in the Gospels, there you will find what is important for Christians.
 
They've been waiting a long time, even tho' he promised to return in the lifetimes of those who heard his voice.... Those folks are all dead. Was 'jesus' just funnin' 'em and playin' with their heads?
