None of us go bowling with Jesus or Spider-man. None of us have an actual two way conversation with Jesus or Spider-man. We talk to Jesus or Spider-man, but they don't talk back to us. Sure we may get vague warm fuzzy feelings when praying to Jesus or Spider-man, but that doesn't mean we have a relationship with Jesus or Spider-man. A relationship requires a great deal of action from BOTH parties involved. And sadly, Jesus and Spider-man's involvement amounts to basically nothing.
