I may never understand what was going through this little sucker's head, but yea I sin and he does too. But, he sinned while fully seeing God's power, isn't that kinda dumb of him though, trying to beat God, like really? God created him and he has to ask God permission to tempt people, how stupid is that!? Satan is stupid man, "oh, Imma beat God, roar roar roar, AHHHHH, Gabriel the angel kicked my butt outta heaven, but Imma still beat God somehow", how stupid is this fool...
I mean, what is the point of him doing all of this anyway, doesn't he know he's gonna lose or is he just stupid?
i know he's smart, but doesn't he have common sense? i mean really go against the guy who owns the universe and everything in it and spoke you into existence, don't you think he could just be like "Satan, be gone" and Satan is gone forever, like what is the point, he was one of the greatest angels too, i heard he was a great praise minister, but he threw it all away cuz he got a big ole bull head and said "Imma be like God", please...can't even beat Gabriel...
@Arthur, micheal, gabriel, point is, if he can't beat any of God's angels, then why does he think he can beat God, he has to be stupid or without common sense....
 
Satan is very arrogant. He no doubt thinks he will win in the end. But we know different. He was very beautiful, and had angels under him that he ruled. But he was not satisfied, he wanted to ascend his throne higher than God's. You could say he was the first sinner, in that he disobeyed God. But he will be cast alive into the lake of fire after the thousand year reign is over. God said it, and God cannot lie.

This simple test shows the devil does not exist and god does not exist. Furthermore, there is nothing that states we can not test the devil or god for that mater.

The bible only states its believers do not test god.

On the other hand there is nothing written anywhere that states we should not or can not test the devil so we tested both for completeness.

Note that since god and devil are two dependent deities, if we show one does not exist then the other does not exist.

Satan was at one time a Angelic creature. Remember one thing-Angels have the power of free will.When God created the first coupe Adam and Eve Satan used his free will to lie to Eve after God commanded her not to teat from the fruit. He was very cunning and persuasive, talking through a serpent. Yes he is very stupid since he knows God powers well exceed his and has seen Gods power. But thas what the emotion of jealousy can do. He is God rival enemy and will be destroyed by God soon and his Archangel Michael ( Jesus Christ will do the slaying)All those who are wicked and against Gods sovereignty will also be destroyed...Satan is stupid ignorant and afraid of death. That's why the world is in such a mess as he is attempting to sway people away from Gods pure and true worship and to die with him...STUPID YES..
 
He goes for short term gain. He does not care about the eternal consequences. He goes about this world causing evil in many people's lives. And he is actually worshiped by some who think like he does.

It is silly isn't it? At the same time the world confirms this attitude and that we really are the sons/daughters of disobedience and under Satan's influence right now. Man also ignores, scoffs, doubts, mocks, twists, denies, pouts, rails, blasphemes, misleads, and lies when it comes to the things of God.

This is one of the harshest verses in the Bible(in my opinion), but it really drives home the state of man
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own, for he is a liar, and the father of it.

He hates us with a passion and does everything in his power to keep us from realizing and accepting God's saving grace. Each soul that dies without Christ is a twofold victory for Satan in that it grieves God, and it provides him yet another being to share his eternal misery.

I don't know that stupid is the word, so much as deluded, as is man into thinking himself to be better than or better off without God.
 
I think it was Michael that kicked him out of heaven.

But yea, The only thing Satan is stupid for is betraying God in heaven and showing disgusting respect towards the Lord.

Other than than satan and his Demon's are not dumb, they are way more intelligent than us, they are supernatural beings.

I've heard of people being possessed and they not even know it, why? Because the demon is smart enough to hide its self and not be noticed .

I can't wait until the day Satan and his demons get burned to a crisp.
 
Angelic beings as created by God were in the beginning appointed to tend to us while we dwell on this earth. They still do and are encamped about the rightious. The story of Genesis is a synopsis of the full events that took place in the beginning which is based on the controversy of rulers and freedom of choice. Angels have the same freedom we do. It's difficult to see that if you haven't studied that book along with some Hebrew and Aramaic language and culture from that time. It all fits together. Adam and Eve were representative of the human race as created by God and if you examine you will see to synopic creation stories embedded together. The Serpent represents intelligence, knowledge and the "cold blooded" shrewdness of the angelic beings and the methods they used to get humans to worship them instead of the one true God. Every "pagan" god or goddess in the Bible has their origins with an self exhalted angelic being. It was Christ who was dwelling there in the Garden with the first people and it was He that this earth and all its contents were created for, through Him and by Him all things were made. Yet primarily there was one being who wished to exalt himself above Christ and inherit this earth. Satan/Lucifer/Devil first got a third of the Host of God to follow him and then proceeded to teach mankind all kinds of really bad stuff which led to the rest of the history as depicted in the Bible. Read the book of Enoch and Job and also the book of Ezekiel. Also the Book of Isaiah. Your first clue is in the Book of Genesis though. I'll let you find it. Happy adventures to you. Choose life. Maybe Satan wanted to free mankind from God's tyranny. In doing so, he was cast out and brandished as evil.

Satan is not st*p*d though he can be smart enough to deceive a lot of people and bring them with him to hell at the day of judgement.
 
Heavenly issues seem to be ordered by the fullness of time, for example Christ came at an appointed time and will return at an appointed time. Satan, the Adversary will operate on a similar system no doubt with the cataclysmic fall he brought about that ruined the world while now quaking in his boots waiting for Christ's second coming when his time is up but he won't know when that is. It seems to me that the timing is pre-ordained by the the Godhead with those involved in heavenly matters having to suffer until the allotted time of their visitation.
 
satan was stupid to challenge GOD but other then that he is very cunning. he's called the father of lies for a reason. he came up with the greatest conspiracy ever! google aliens are demons.
