According to Col 1;15 it states,

"The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation."

If this `invisible` God is the same God in the Old Testament.

Please explain why Moses saw the body of God in Exodus 33;21- 23,

21; Then the LORD said, “There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock.

22; When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by.

23; Then I will remove my hand and you will see my back; but my *face must not be seen.”

Clearly in Exodus 33;21-23, YHWH had the appearance of a man for Moses to see him and for YHWH to need to cover his face.

If God is invincible how is this possible when man can endure the face of an angel. But not the *face of God. God covered his face! Moses saw God's body.

So Christians what is the writer of Col 1;15 talking about. How is God `invisible` if Moses saw him? It appears that the Biblical Jews believed did not believe God was a spirit.
