Didn't he go around healing people? And Conservative Christians who vote = Republicans who fight against Stem-Cell Research which has been used to treat and cure cancer in other nations. Why are American Christians allowing children with cancer to suffer unnecessarily?

Don't make the mistake of believing that the politically misled and deceived are true Christ followers. The example of not giving support for stem cell research is much usurped by the example of those who support the crimes against humanity of war while pretending the believe Christianity's Golden Rule;"do unto others as you would have them do unto you" or the Republican presidential candidate who just yesterday stated that if elected he would maintain "defense" (mass murder) spending at its current level while massively slashing spending to help the poor.(yes the same candidate who donates a tiny fraction of his million dollars a year income to charity)

I don't think so...

I don't think Jesus would think one way or the other. He believed home was in heaven and the goal was to get there. When he healed, he did it to prove a point to the disbelievers.

I'm a conservative and don't believe I'm politically misled. :)
