Christians, would you be offended if someone were to wish you a very MARY Christmas?

After all, indirectly, she's the reason for the season, right? =)

And what is your particular denomination?

I'm afraid I'm not religious myself, I just want to say that I'm totally gonna use that now x)

No, she is not the reason for the season, the birth of Christ our King is, and I am a Christian.

No, but I'd think you couldn't spell or that you had the wrong object of worship.

Its pronounced Marry Christmas. Mary the mother of Jesus is Not God and shall not be Worshiped as the Roman Catholic church does, She is a Servant of the Most High God just like me and my Brothers in Sisters in Christ.

i wouldn't be as offended for me as i would for them for making such a lame "joke." Mary was a Godly young girl chosen by the Father to be the mother of our Lord Jesus, but i in no way consider her the reason for the season, even indirectly.

have a very Merry and blessed Christmas!

LOL! No I wouldn't be offended...but I'd think you needed to learn to spell Merry correctly. I'm a baptist and have attended many different denominations. Mary was used as a vessel to bring forth Jesus, HE is the reason for the season..not Mary.
