16 times in less than 2 hours. Watch closely, this could set a new world record for the most Jesus struck by lightning questions in a single day.

As a child I went to a catholic school. There was a large stone cross over the main entrance to the church. One morning lightning struck it and blew it into tiny pieces. It was blown completely off of the church.

This cross was an easy hundred feet lower than the higher parts of the church so the lightning had to work pretty hard to get down this low without hitting the higher parts of the church.

As we walked into church that morning I had a feeling that if there was a God, She was not that concerned with our symbols.

It was an unusual weather phenomenon where lighting was attracted to metal that was pointing upwards. (Gee, I would've thought Atheists who claim to be so intelligent would have known something this already, since it's rather obvious.)
