Comeback to ' you're a homo'?

Ok so my aunts are gay and I stand up for gay rights I even have a rainbow ribbon supporting my family. And I am not embarrassed about it, very open like all my friends know. Well I posted something on fb Ans a friend was like you're a homo. Like wtf what should I say back being nice but letting her know its not cool to use that word. Sorry of this is a stupid question I list can't think it makes me mad:/
 
Comebacks never work, hon. The people at whom they're directed either already know how you feel and don't care or are too stupid to take the hint in the first place. Personally, I'd simply ignore it, with or without defriending as you choose. If you REALLY want a comeback, you might try something like "sapiens? Why, yes I am. Aren't you?" But I still think just walking away is the better option.
 
I think you should question your friend. (Don't worry... I have a friend who's exactly like that, she's a pain, because she can't change anyways...)
Tell her you for one aren't gay, but you support gay rights because a part of your family is gay. Question her about it--What's wrong with being gay? Because if you don't have a problem, then neither should she. Then tell her it's really bad to use that language... the stigma is something that lasts a while. (I'm still thinking of coming out...) And yes. That should solve it.

If not, she's not a friend - block her.
If it was then you should see her in real life at which point you can tell her what she said was hurtful to you.
 
Tell her that (a) you're not gay, and (b) she sounds like a homophobe when she says that.
 
It depends on how you want to play it.

The adult way is to rise above it, ignore it and move on. If she posted it on your FB, delete it. If it was on someone elses, report it.

The more childish way is to come back with something like "Your mum/dad didn't seem to mind when were naked in the hot tub last night"
 
infantile people will remain infantile no matter the comeback you use. just write her back ''wrong, I'm a hetero'' or whatever you are. sure, it's not a superwitty comeback that will throw her off of the chair, but the more thought and wit you put into what to write, the more it signals to people that they actually have a point and that they did insult you - not what we'd want in this case. just use her own weapons against her.

Don't let her know it bothers you. "Lol" works just fine. If a drunk homeless guy makes fun of your small house do you really care? Even "I know right!" You don't mind the lifestyle so who cares.
