Compaq laptop 2 beeps and doesn't boot?

ok the computer fell when i tried to turn it on it does the following

when it first turns on i hear two high pitch beeps followed by this message:

Press<F1> to resume, <F10> to setup

.....ok that was the message^^^^^
then either if i press f1 or f10 it doesn't do anything.


what could it be?

i have the same problem w a laptop it was the a ahci controller problem(on MB)...ok that don't means u have the same problem...it cud be anything.it cud be your hdd...
