Compatible headphones for Sony Ericsson phones?

Im planning on buying the Xperia Ray or a similar SE Phone, was wondering if the Sony over ear ZX600 would work with these?

I had an SE X10i and the newer iPhone headphones wouldn't work so im wondering if they will or not? Should help being both Sony but i don't want to buy the phone and find it doesn't :(
 
Those headphones are fine. If you decide you're buying headphones with button controls/ Microphone on them, just make sure they dont say ipod/iphone compatible.
 
All headphones are compatible with any smartphone nowadays providing they both have 3.5mm jacks. Which is most likely they do.

To answer your question, yes indeedy, they're compatible
