Hello,
I connected my bluetooth to my computer and I was trying to see if I was able to get my voice through the speakers when suddenly it froze it wouldn't respond to any input from the keyboard or mouse so I hard booted it I tried to connect again and it froze it searches for the device but as soon as connection is established it freezes then I plugged my microphone in and when I apply "Listen to this device" it froze. It's not like this with all peripheral devices just ones associated with sound.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be and how to fix it.
Thanks!

It sounds to me like you have bad drivers or windows is having a hard time using its resources to find a proper driver. The first thing I would do is make sure your sound device drivers are up to date.
If that doesn't work try closing everything first to make sure you have CPU space and try again. Did your microphone come with a driver CD? How long have you waited after plugging it in? Many devices now install the drivers automatically when they are plugged in so it may take a few moments before recognizing the device.
If none of the above works.. Tell us more about your system, is it old? What OS? What kind of Microphone are you trying to use?
Good luck!
