Computer game from the 1980's Truck Driver?

I am looking for an old computer game from the mid 1980's. It's a truck driver where you go across America delivering loads, and you can pick up hitchhikers. It was one of the best games ever. I think it was a floppy disk game from an old Mac. . I played it in 6th grade, probably 1986. I cannot think of the name of it.
