I own an instructional video that used to work on my computer useing VLC it was perfect at the time but now no longer plays i have tried downloading the new version of vlc but i still have the same problem the video is in AVI format. I use windows vista and when I open the video i go through my harddrive, click on the item and select 'open with VLC' VLC appears but nothing happens the bar down the bottom doesn't even move. The name of the file does appear. I am using the latest version of VLC. Someone please help this is urgent I need to fix this tonight! Best answer to the person who can get it running!
