Computer Stereo Audio Amplifier Question?

Here's the deal: I have come across a pair of 75w speakers (bose 301 series 4) for free. I wish to use them in my bedroom to play music from my laptop.

So I've been looking around the internet for a decent quality, relatively compact amplifier.

Since each speaker is 75w, i suppose it should be rated at at least 150w.

I would really like to get one for under $100, but i may be able to go a bit above that.

Also, I'm really not an audio expert so please try to explain stuff.
