The situation:
I've been having trouble signing my new notebook onto my existing Telus highspeed network. The notebook is signed into the network using the network key we got from the desktop, so it says we are signed in to this network on the notebook, but that we have 'limited connectivity' so cannot actually use the internet.
1. I have been told that you need to phone Telus for a new password each time you want to add a new computer on your network. Is this true?
2. Could the fact that the desktop is XP and the notebook is Vista have anything to do with the problem?
