Converting Vuze xvid movies into dvd for burning on Macbook?

I was wondering if anybody knows how to convert the xvid movies you download off of Vuze into DVDs to be watched on your DVD player? I have no idea how to do it. I was able to drag the movie onto a DVD-R to burn but it only plays on PS3 because it resembles a data file. I am not computer savy!
 
Remedy to Burn file to play on your DVD Player

I use to have the same issue . So this is what I have done and it works perfectly for me. Download AVS Video Converter and the take the movie file you want to burn, upload or drag it to AVS Video Converter, it will convert it for you and then when done, insert blank disc. It will ask you a few questions on your preference of burning and then burn and play in your regular DVD.
