I have to do an oral history project for school, and i did mine on an audio cassette using a recorder. When we turn in the cassete we are never getting it back. I have a stereo system that has a cassete deck that could fit two cassettes, it also has a record button. so i know i can copy it do another cassete, but i dont know how? Does anyone know how to do this, i really cant manage to mess up the original cassete because a huge grade is riding on it.

What you want to do is called "dubbing".
See if you can find the User manual on the web or if your deck has any special buttons for quick dubbing.

For extra protection break the little notch at the back of the "master" cassette. This gurantees you can't overwrite it.
