Corrupt computer or bad internet?

Well, I use Firefox normally but lately its been spazing out. It wont show some images and instead of the little box with the X in it, it doesn't even act like there's anything there and when i close the window and try to restart it, it says to 'Delete the non-responsive Firefox page or restart you're system to run Firefox.' I've tried everything! I've restarted my system, reinstalled it, and tried to use normal internet but even the normal internet says there's something wrong!! Do i just have a F**ked up system?
 
I've got a few questions.

1) Are other internet applications working fine for instance your instant messaging program (like msn messenger, google talk, aim and etc...) or even the internet explorer that comes with the operating system?

Cause - It might be that your internet connection isn't really working very well, might be hiccups from the ISP side, do call your internet service provider.

2) What operating system are you running on?

The requirement to run Firefox is as follows, do check if you fufill the requirements.

If you have another computer at home, try that to answer the question as to whether or not it's your internet. If the other computer works fine this yes it is something wrong with your computer. If it is something wrong with your computer i recommend running some scans with a virus scanner and/or spybot search and destroy.
