If you have ever cosplayed before, I would like any if ANY advice. I'm trying to go to a convention in October and I'm going as the character Mahiro from Samurai Deeper that I thought looked an easy character to play.
I bought a halloween wig online that I thought would work, but now I'm worried people might think it looks cheap. I bought a shirt I thought would work and a skirt. They're different fabrics but I can't tell but can others? I want to have fun but I don't want to end up on some wall of shame! And I'm not an expert on sewing. Going online has made me realize that people may tear you apart if you aren't accurate.
Should I still try, start from scratch or just go as me?
