Could a band like the runaways make it in today's music industry?

my band is an all girl rock band, who play classic rock like 'the runaways', Zeppelin etc but do you think we have a chance in today's music industry?
 
As long as you don't have a douche of a manager like Kim Fowler, you could have a chance! But why play classic rock like someone else? That what ppl like Gaga and Bieber and all the boy and girl bands do, take other ppl's ideas and add a bit of image.
Why not create something original??
 
Sure but you have to add to your style something to attract young ears. Like The Strokes. They are rated as alternative, but their songs are fusion of old Rock N' Roll.
