Could a change in routine cause a dog to not want to eat?

A few weeks ago i noticed our collie mix not really interested in her food...she would just lay in front of her bowl and wait till we basically had to go over to her bowl and tell her to eat. This behavior started happening a few days before we left for our 1 week trip. When we returned from our trip (our in-laws took care of them when we were gone) up until now (its been almost 2 weeks) she is still doing the same thing. She just lays in front of her bowl until we tell her 'eat.' She seems to be acting normal, playing, going potty normal and everything but im just curious if the reason for this behavior is because of us being out of town and chaning her routine....it was like she new a few days before we left what was going to happen...this was the first long trip away from the pups and we want her to be back to normal...it seems like our younger dog is picking up on her bad habits and doing the same thing now...have you experienced this when there is a change in their daily routine?
