Could anyone help me work out my holiday entitlement (uk)?

Although I usually work over 24 hours a week (sometimes a lot more) I have just found out i've only been contracted for 7.5. This means that as i've just taken 2 weeks holiday I was only paid for 14 hours, instead of the 48 I would have worked normally - surely holiday pay should be based on the hours you've actually worked though-out the year? Does any one know how these things work? :)

Thanks!

Sorry - holiday pay is based purely on your contracted hours, and not anything which is overtime. I had a similar problem once - I was only contracted to work for 4 hours a week, but was working in the region of 30 to 35.

Two weeks holiday got me a lousy 8 hours pay.
