Could he be interested or is he just friendly?

I've known him for about a month (we met at our university and we are both 20) and he asked me these questions:

"Do you have a Valentine this year?"
"So, are you ready to go home after work tonight?"
"Are you going to do anything on your day off this Saturday?"

He told me today that a mutual friend told him that he would develop a crush on me. He is confident and friendly and he is single. He is very good looking and that makes me nervous. People will also joke about us going out and he just smiles and jokes back. Two of my best friends have told me they think he has a thing for me. . I don't want to say anything (for one I'm shy) and he also has said that the guy should do the approaching..not the girl.

We've hung out in a group before and we talked but not anything too exciting happened. I got out of a bad abusive relationship a year ago and this is the first time I've been interested in someone since then, I feel crazy. I don't know what to think but I can't stop thinking about him.

girl to girl here, bottom line, this is what ive learned, and were about the same age. If hes interested in possible dating you he will do the following things: start conversations with you, ask you questions, continue conversations, look at you a lot (not in a stalkish way but u know what i mean) he will seem nervous around you. If hes not doing most of these things hes probably just friendly. My advice, dont rush anything, let him come to you, that always makes it better anyways. Good luck
