Thanks soo much.

My bf and I are having a baby. We conceived around Aug. 17. We went up to Bishop on his bday, which is in the beginning of Sept. We arrived on Sept. 1, and by the 4th, l started feeling nauseated. The following week, I was exhausted. We took a test on the 12th and it came back positive. I wasn't supposed to start my period until the 15th. When I went to the dr, I was 7 weeks. I had some discharge around 8 weeks. First it was red, then it was brown. Brown discharge is "old blood". I am 13 weeks now and I have not had any other discharge since that day. Just remember that everyone is different. This will be my second child, and this pregnancy is nothing like my first one. I never got morning sickness with my first child, and I am constantly sick with this one. Maybe you should try clear blue digital, or first response....those were the ones I took. 3 came back positive, and 1 came back negative, but my bf and I were very anxious to find out the results and took one back to back (which you shouldn't do). If you do take another test, the best results is first thing in the morning. Good luck

Because ovulation can be delayed by a host of reasons, a negative pregnancy test (even a blood test) isn't fully negative until it gets confirmed by your period.

Assuming that you've continued to be sexually active, your ovulation could have easily been delayed by two weeks (and something as simple as taking a trip or vacation can cause a woman's ovulation to be delayed) and you've gotten pregnant. If that were the case, then you would only be 3 weeks pregnant, and that would be too early for a pee test or a blood test.

I know it is frustrating, but your only course of action needs to be to take a test once your period seems late (the odds are against getting pregnant in any given month, so you might as well give AF at least one chance to give you an answer for free). If the test comes out negative, wait one week. If AF still has not arrived, take another test. Repeat this process until you either get a positive pregnancy test, a visit from AF, or decide it's time to see a ob/gyn about why you are not having periods anymore.
