Could i get an unlock code from t mobile if i used to be their customer..?

I got an Mytouch 3g from america and I movied to Europe but i didnt know u can get an free unlock code from t mobile, can i call tmobile and ask them for a unlock code if i used to be their customer, would they give me the code? THanks.

It mean you need to unlock your mobile according to the network you reside ,
