If evil exists, then things like the Holy Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, 9/11, etc. would be fairly good examples of evil. Yet the people who carried out the various atrocities comprising these evils were doing so with good intentions because they followed certain religious beliefs. So should their religion or the individuals in question be blamed?
