I started volunteering at a thrift store a little over a month ago, and met a nice young man who helps pick up/unload donated items. He's usually out with another man picking stuff up, so he's not at the store consistently.. anyway, I'm noticing that his body language (when near me/talking to me) seems very nervous and tense. We're both usually quiet and reserved, and I tend to be shy.. so we don't talk much while I'm working at the store. It's on those occasions that we DO talk, however, that I especially notice that he seems uneasy.. almost flustered. He's usually the one who initiates conversation, though. And despite physically coming across as nervous, he talks relatively normal.. I ran into him at the local can recyling place -- he was very friendly and iniated that conversation as well. I can also recall a time in which I had just made it to the store, put my things away and headed toward the back to grab an apron. He was standing around with a group of people when I caught him looking at me.. he quickly looked away. So far this has happened once. Is there a possibility that he's interested in me, or maybe something about me makes him really uncomfortable..? This is confusing me, especially since I have a difficult time seeing how I could be attractive to anyone. I'm CLUELESS when it comes to stuff like this.
