curious about gaming hardware (tech and gamers people only please)?

you know how people complain that Crysis requires a high end computer?
What is considered high end?

I am able to play Crysis at 1680*1050 with all very high setting with NO LAG AT ALL. The computer I built was below $900...

I don't really know what is considered a high end video card, but I have seen 500-800 dollars cards, isn't mine kind of low end?

also, the quad core doesn't really help since Crysis doesn't support quad, so you would get the same framerate with dualcore 3.0ghz right?

I'm just curious to know what games require $500 video cards...
