i have a jailbroken iphone 3gs ios 4.1 and i tried to download/add some cydia sources. Some of them work but most of them say bad url or host unreachable.

That means the repo is down. Some repos are no longer available (some just go down, and are back up soon) for example, beyouriphone.com was a repo, and it was shut down.
