The Chicago Bulls are both lucky and good. In Game 1 of their first round series against the Indiana Pacers, the BUlls were down 10 points with three and a half minutes remaining but went on a 16-1 run to end the game. The Pacers were giving the Bulls another hard push in Game 2 — even though they lost starting point guard Darren Collison. After scoring a basket near the end of the first half, Collison suffered a sprained ankle after stepping on a cameraman.
During halftime, Collison attempted to run on his ankle. After experiencing too much pain, he was kept out for the entire second half. The Pacers went on to lose by a final score of 96-90.
Right now, Collison’s status for the rest of the series isn’t known. However, he appeared to be in a lot of pain and will likely be probable at best for Game 3.
On the season, Collison averaged 13.2 points and 5.1 assists. Prior to the season, the Pacers acquired him from the New Orleans Hornets.
