The Tampa Bay Buccaneers suffered a big blow on Saturday night when Davin Joseph, a Pro Bowl guard, suffered a serious knee injury. Joseph will require knee surgery and will miss the entire 2012 NFL season. The injury occurred in a preseason game against the New England Patriots.
Despite the seriousness of the injury, Joseph was able to stay positive. Said the 6-foot-3, 313-pounder on Twitter: “Thanks for all of the support, positive vibes, and prayers. Overall, it could be worse. God has a plan. I’ll be back ASAP.”
This is bad news for the entire Buccaneers offense. QB Josh Freeman won’t get as much time and running back LeGarrette Blount now doesn’t have as high of a ceiling.
