It comes to my mind that many are going through hard times. If you have a verse or testimony of recovery to share please share it. Thanks so much. If you still need recovery you can share that too.

Continually, but I always think of Mark 6:45-51 ~~ Why would Jesus deliberately tell His disciples to row their fishing boat out into, what He knew was an approaching storm?! It is an event the Bible describes, Jesus walking on the water, which raises either doubt or faith for many people. In my own walk with the Savior through life, I have often wondered, ‘Why did You allow this situation; You had to know this would happen! Why!?’, only to discover, like His first disciples in that terrifying storm, Jesus’ power is most clearly made known in times of desperation; times when our own resources have failed completely. The world today for many is spiraling sideways out of control; yet that is actually what the Bible refers to as times when ‘the kindness of God is giving you time for repentance’. He is giving you time to decide: will you struggle on in your own failing strength, or receive this storm as an opportunity for Him to make His power known in your life as you finally trust Him, instead of only yourself? No problem you ever faced in this life will ever compare with the problem you will face on the Day of Judgment if you have rejected His way of making people right with our loving Father in Heaven. In fact, many on that Day will only finally then realize that all life’s storms were indeed permitted for the very purpose of turning us to confess our sins to Him and turn from them. When we ask His forgiveness, He will. Trust that Jesus took the punishment your sins deserved on His cross. You will discover through all your storms in life only Jesus the Savior will rescue you now and from the judgment to come your sins so justly deserve.

Yes, the sorrow of the things we see in our world nearly makes one "faint" save that being still and knowing He is Lord refreshes at each daybreak, and throughout the day when at Prayer.

Peace.
