...vacation? We are deciding to either go on a one week all-inclusive vacation without our son( who will be 1 year old at the time of the trip and would stay with the grandparents) or to save that money and use it later on for a family trip when they are older or just family stuff in general.
This week vacation is because of a best friend who is getting married and is really pushing us to go, but If we went on this trip it would exhaust most of our savings and I feel we should keep that money as a savings buffer just in case and can be used for family activies later on.
I have read many questions and articles on this same issue and the majority of the answers/responses were to go on the week vacation trip. I understand the idea about needing alone time for each other etc.. and i know that our son will be in the best of care with the grandparents so i am not worried about him as much but i just cant get over the idea of spending that much money for our self's when i know it could be used to do things as a family.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
